Error Code: 80246005

Struggling to get Service Pack 1 installed for Windows XP
Professional and keep running into this condition. I have
deactivated all virus software and other programs that run
on the system tray which are not essential.

Any ideas?

Is this and error you are getting from Windows Update or from the SP1
Installer package? Sounds like a Windows Update Error Code.
