The log makes reference to my server and it seems that it thinks that my
server hasWSUSinstalled, which it does not. (It is running SBS2003Std)
How can I change this to allow direct updates to the web?

That could be a tough one, I would look in the WU log and see if you can find
where the error code is coming from...
