Error - Can't open the mail session

Hello,

I have a W2K box running Access 97 runtime and OE on it. I would like to be
able to send a previewed report to a mail recipient but am having
difficulty. When I right click the report I get the SendTo... option which I
can select but then get an error message: Can't open the mail session. Check
your mail application to make sure that it's working properly.

I found the MS KB article Q283173 which references the same problem, but it
was for W98. On W2K the registry key doesn't exist.

Does anyone know how to resolve this problem, or can direct me to where it
might already have been discussed?

Ha ha,

Found the answer in an 'old' newsgroup mail on google. It seems that the
[MAPI] section in Win.ini needed to be edited to include some additional
lines. I got them from a PC that worked and copied them in and it did the
job.
