error C00D11CD

Hi,
can some one help.
I have a dell machine with W2K OS. I can not play mpg files
the file is stored on the local hard drive.
When I try to open the file with WMP9 it tries to cennect
to codec server and I get the C00D11CD error.
I tried with differents mpg files and it is the same PB.
I can play those mpg files with the same config(W2K and
wmp9) in an IBM laptop machine.

That sounds like you have other MPEG, MPEG2, or DVD software on the box that
is overriding the normal system decoder? You'd need to figure out what
overrode that and either fix it or remove it...

No I do not have any player installed in the box except WMP
