Error ..."c:\Document and Settings\All Users\??????????"

Hello All

Trying to install different sofwares (e.g. VNC) have failed with an error
Setup was unable to create directory "c:\Document and Settings\All Users\??????????

How is it possible to overcome this

General facts
1> I have XP-Pro, an upgrade from Win-2000
2> Have Hebrew configured as a second language

Would appreciate your help

In none of your postings have you included enough information for anyone
to help you. What are your computer specs? What changed between the
time things worked and the time they didn't? Aside from reinstalling
Windows (usually done as a last resort, not the first t-shooting step),
what have you already done to troubleshoot? You may have a hardware
problem. If your hard drive is dying, for example, reinstalling Windows
will not solve anything. Please post back with a more detailed post if
you want help.
