#error and "not a valid bookmark" + missing rows

Hi

I have a client application that is connecting via ODBC to
my access database. multiple clients are using this
application simultaneously.
In recent times we had the problem that rows are vanished,
others seems to have errors (when I open the table in
access i see those rows with an #error sign - when i click
on it i get "invalid bookmark").
the database is about 10mb large - the main table where
this error is happening is currently holding 12000 rows -
but there are also smaller tables that are "infected" by
this problem.

is there any known problem about loosing rows or those
errorfull rows.

when i try to repair the database the missing rows are
still not there and those that had the error are there but
with wrong values in the columns.

we already tried to use a different hard drive as we
thought it might be a hardware problem - but that was not
the problem.

thanks for any information on this
..
