Error and needs to close

I am using explorer for internet and every time I try to
search for something I getr a message that an error has
been found and needs to close.
Can anyone help?
I have been running Xp for 3 months

You did not state whether this error is something that
just started or has been a problem since you started
running XP. If it is a recent problem, do a Restore of
your system, you can go back up to 90 days.

Or, if Search - Doesn't Work
Open Explorer and go to the Windows\Inf folder. Locate
the srchasst.inf file. Right click it and select Install.
You'll need your XP CD or the files from the I386 folder.
(This fix will require you to have your Win XP CD).

The Windows\Inf folder is a hidden folder. You can adjust
your Explorer Folder Options (View tab) to Show hidden
files and folders. You can also click Start, Run and
enter %SystemRoot%\Inf to open directly to the Inf folder.
Shutdown and Reboot.

I had the same problem, but what I discovered is if you
put the www. in front of the word you type in the address
bar, and end with .com,, it works fine>-----Original

Does the message mention RPC Service and NT Authority?
If so, you have the Blaster Worm.
