ERROR: ACCESS DENIED ...BUT TO WHAT??

When I startup my computer either from completely off or from a standby mode.
I get a small box in the middle of the desktop that has the word ERROR as the
header and in the middle it says ACCESS IS DENIED and it has an okay button.
It doesn't tell me what my access is being denied to. I hit okay and go about
my work on the computer. I can't tell that there is anything on the computer
that is not working correctly. Where is the message coming from? What am I
denied access to? How can I get this message to go away?
I have WIN XP Pro sp2
 
Have you checked your event log. Perhaps that can tell you what is causing
the error to occur. If that doesn't show anything, perhaps you need to use
another spyware scanner such as Spyhunter or Spybot.
