On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Network tab.
In the Streaming protocols area, select all the protocol check boxes.

Right Click on the link in question and select Open In New Window you will
be able to get around this. If that proves not to work then save the file to
your hard drive first and then try to play it back. You do this by Right
Clicking on the link and selecting Save Target As. The last thing to do (If
the above has not helped) would be to disable the Media Bar in Internet
Explorer.
