Hi Folks,
i cannot seem to find a Win 2K board so I will post here and hope someone
can help. I have a updated Win 2000 machine and I am trying to access a DOS
based program via a shortcut leading to another server. The thinig is, I get
an error 75 path/filename access error. This machine exists in a Win 2003
Server environment. The user in questions has all the same permissions to the
area in question and in general as two other users who access the program
just fine from the same machine as the user having the problem. So basically,
this error occurs for one of three profiles who use the program. I use one of
the other two profiles, no errors and everything works fine (all the same
computer). Everyone's roles and permissions are equal. Can someone tell me,
if anything, what changes on a single computer between profiles in an AD in
Win 2003? What system configurations change between profiles on a single
machine that can cause system errors? Thanks Folks! I hope someone has some
insight!
