I have a client trying to connect to my NT 4.0 SP6a RAS
server and is having problems. I have 5 other users that
are able to with no prblems. His setup is different, he
has a Linksys BEFW11s4 router and I was wondering if
something had to be configured on that to allow the client
to connect to my server.

Thanks,
Darren

PPTP will fail if anything in the path blocks GRE. GRE is required for
the encrypted data to travel between client and server (in both directions).

Check that the Linksys does not block GRE (IP protocol 47). Look for it
by name or protocol number. If you can't find it, look for something like
PPTP pass-through mode. This indicates allowing GRE.
