Error 5719

Guest

Checking the error logs under "system", I get the following error message
(error ID 5719)
No Windows NT or Windows 2000 Domain Controller is available for domain
<Domain Name>. The following error occurred:
There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.

The odd thing is is that this error is occuring on the domain server.
Within the last month I had to rebuild a member server (there are only two
servers in the domain), but this server has been the primary DC for the last
serveral years.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Jerry,

Check the Netlogon service of the domain controller, registration on DNS
server. If domain controller itself a DNS server. restart the netlogon
service and make sure the entry in DNS Server.

Make sure the configuration of DNS part in Tcp/Ip on Domain controller.

Also go thru the "Increase Domain Logon Timeout over" KB article from
Microsoft.
