Error 404

Windows XP/SP2/IE6. User can't access a web application using frames. She's
authenticated fine, and part of the app appears fine, but the one frame
shows a error page "Error 404 File not found or unable to read..." Since
this is a new PC (she could connect fine with her old PC - Windows ME) it
must be a config on this PC. Can anybody suggest anything to help
troubleshoot? I'm thinking IE configuration, a java issue, a service pack
issue/firewall, or a combo of two or more of these.

Is the 404 due to the frame or something within it?
Either way use View Source to extract the information
to build the link just the way IE would and test it.
If you get a 404 too you have an answer which does
not implicate the browser but more likely points to
a coding error made by the content provider.
Ask them?
