Error 3170 Access97 on an XP machine

We have one of three XP machines on our NT network that gives us this error
when we run a macro which imports a text file. The other XP machines have
no problem with this as do none of the 13 other Win98 machines. The error
is defined as: Couldn't find installable ISAM. Some how, when I installed
Access97 it did not correctly update the registry to show where these .dll
are located. I have reinstalled, uninstalled and reinstalled but there is
no change.

Added info-- We first installed MS Office Small Bus ed 2000 on this machine
as we did on the other two machines. We found we had to rename the
msaccess.exe file to msaccessx.exe to be able to install, load and use the
msaccess97. We then installed the Access97 in a separate folder.
