Hello,

how to change relations or tables or form settings to prevent that the error
comes up?

Ziomal,

Sounds like you have a one to many relationship and when you updated the
many side there is no record on the one side. Of course, I am just guessing
because you did ot tell us what you are doing when the error occurs. In
order to 'prevent' the error we would need more details...
