We have an access 97 database used for contact and project
tracking. It is a secured database in a multi-user
environment.
Our main forms open up upon opening the database and seem
to be working fine and retrieving data so the front end is
functioning. However, if I try to view the database
tables/queries/reports/forms/macros etc, the screens are
blank and I either get the error above (Operation invalid
without a current index) or an error "<Index name> isn't
an index in this table. Look in the Indexes collection of
the TableDef object to determine the valid index names.
(Error 3015)". I am unaware of any recent database changes
that have been made that could cause this.
If I try to view the database properties I get an
error "Microsoft Access Unable to load the database
properties". If I try to import the tables/queries/etc
into a new database I get similar errors.
Any ideas on a possible cause and hopefully solution?
