Error 1935

Hi.
I'm a newbie here. Please help.
When i purchased Dell laptop recently with Microsoft VISTA Home Basic
pre-installed. I get this installer prompt when try to install Adobe Acrobat
reader online.

Prompt shows:
Error 1935. An error occurred during installation of assembly
'Microsoft.VC80.CRT,version="8.0.50727.163",type="win32",publicKeyToken=
"1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="x86". Please refer to Help&Support.

When i closed this prompt, it prompted again saying:
'Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another
time, please run setup again.'

I can't find any help or support information regarding this problem. I tried
even to run the setup again but still failed. What does it mean by my system
has not been modified?

How to rectify these problems?
