I get this when I try to start services that once started automatically,
example is Back Up Exec's SQL service and Dells array management. I've made
no changes on the server and this started after a reboot. So far I've only
found information stating I may have to make registry changes to correct
however I'm suspecious of this since there have been no recent registry
changes.

This article may help you.

The article showed me the problem, I couldn't find the cause. I did stumble
on it when I logged in as a user instead administrator and got a pop-up
stating there was a naming conflict with 'program' and the file would be
renamed 'program1'. Then I found a file named 'program1' on the root of the
'C' drive dated 8/9 with no file extension and 0k in size. I don't know how
it got there but all was better with the file renamed and finally deleted. I
don't understand why loggin in as administrator didn't give me that message.
