I read a simi question regarding the TrayApp for the window installer. Its
tell me to insert a disc..My Window XP was pre install. However, I had on
hand a disc for Windows XP 2000 it tells this is an older ver. How can I
locate the current verison that's on my computer.

Prior to this error 1706, I ran a "Registry First Aid Platinum Software".
It corrected whatever needed to done. It told me to restart my computer and
the results this error. Please help me.

Try Restoring your system (using System Restore) to date before you ran that
'First Aid' software.
Note: Registry Cleaners only clean your wallet.

I have a reload disc which I tried but the system refused to reload as it
could not determine the BIOS lock. Yes XP was preinstalled and I paid extra
for the reload disc, my previous system was '98. How do I get into the BIOS
to see if I can remedy this lock? My e-mail address is
