Error 1607, Loading I-Pod 2.0 software

I am trying to install I-Pod 2.0 software to my Dell
computer with Windows XP. The installation process hangs
up after a few seconds and gives me "Error 1607: Unable
to Install InstallShield Scripting Run Time".

The I-Pod folks told me to contact Dell, and Dell gave me
a web site to go to. I went to
http://consumer.installshielf.com/kb.asp?id=q108340 and
followed all instructions and it did not fix the problem.

Can anyone help? Please.

Hi,

click start, select run and type:

MSIEXEC /unregister (press ok)

Then, Type

MSIEXEC /register (press ok)

Try installing the software again.
