Error - 1605

I'm currently trying to re-install MMC81 on my computer. I've used it
successfully on my computer in the past, but now when I try to install I
get this error:

error- 1605 This action is only valid for products that are currenly
installed

I currently have to use this older version because I have an
ALL-IN-WONDER Radeon card I'm using a coaxial cable for my TV signal.
The latest version I can use (9.2) doesn't have the coaxial input option
on it's TV software.

I tried ATI's method for removing old software before installing,
without success.

Any ideas?

I'm currently running Windows XP Pro SP2
