Error 1406 ?

I'm installing some software on my laptop (which I have been using
and installing software on for over two years with no problems) but
now I'm getting this message at the end of the install.......
Error 1406 Could not write value installed to key
\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\OptionalComponets\MSFS
Verify that you have sufficient access to that key
------What the heck is going on?

The user account you are using to install does not have permission to
access the registry key in question. Try installing from an account with
Administrator permissions.

If the install fails even with an Administrator account, you'll have to
edit the registry to manually change the access control list for the
registry key in question. Either grant your user account or all
Administrators full control.

File and folder access permissions can sometimes change without notice.
This is sometimes done by your security software.
