Error 1324

When trying to install Adobe Acrobat 6.01 on Windows 2000,
I get an error messsage as follows:- "Error 1324 The path
My Pictures or the volume is invalid, please enter it
again."

Any ideas how I resolve this?

Not precisely, but I would check:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
\Shell Folders\
and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
\User Shell Folders\
for the valuname: My Pictures
and confirm the data there, then confirm that the file system location
exists. It's a start anyway.
