When trying to detect and repair my Office 2003 (Basic), I get an error
message that tells me that the source file cannot be found. D:\ZF561407.CAB.

Is D your CD/DVD drive, and is the CD inserted?

YES. THE DISC WAS IN AND I HAVE SEARCHED IT AND THE FILE WAS NOT FOUND.

Hi - please don't type in all caps; it's hard to read and is considered
"shouting".

Do you see the file on the CD when you look in Windows Explorer?
A google search for the file name you mentioned brought up a lot of hits -
did you try searching that way to see if there were any useful resolutions
to the problem?
