Error 1304

I am trying to load a Palm Desktop on my computer from the Disk. It begins to load and I get an error message 1304 that basically states that I must verify I have access to the directory. I am the computer owner, I am the computer Administrator, I have full priviliges, I am not on a network. I had installed this program in October and it worked fine, I go back in December and it tells me it is not there when it is. When I try to reinstall the program I get the 1304 Error Message. Can anyone tell me what the hell is going on? Thanks

Hi,

Locate the installation program folder, right-click it, choose properties
and go to the Security tab. Take ownership of the folder by clicking
advanced and going to the owner tab.
