error 10060

Can someone please help me I have a little box keeps
appearing on my screen saying connection timed out error
10060. How can I get rid of it?

I've experienced the same error message off and on over
the last year. I've 'fixed' the problem occasionally by
manipulating my Internet Connections from the Control
Panel, ... but I don't remember how. The message just
restarted last night. The entire error message reads:

APP_VERO_38446 ... Connection Timed Out ... Error # 10060

I've done meta-searches for ANY info on this message and
it doesn't come up except in discussion group postings
(?) A mystery to me, but I am documenting (this time)
what I do as I try to rectify it, ... if I hit on a
solution, I'll repost to your message below.

I am having the same problem, APP_VERO_39446 Connection time out (Error #10060). I have done a google search and it only pulls a user group from Poland....translation doesn't help much, one user thinks its a trojan? Anyway I am close to formatting my hardrive....drastic but this error message is taking up system resource

Any help would be appreciated...
