attilathehun1 before I get anywhere the read up of the system says disk
failure. It says just what the subject title says Error 0200: Failure Fixed
Disk 0. Now the Fixed Disk 0 is a MaxtorARES C64K hard drive. Does anyone
know what that means? Is the hard drive finished, or is it something else
that can be fixed?
Thanks, Attilathehun1

ok, it turns out the last thing I read on the screen is " Operating System
Not Found" and whatever key I push that message keeps popping up over and
over again. I hope that helps. I've changed the boot order back to floppy,
hard drive, and CD-ROM. It was CD-ROM first as if someone had loaded up an OS
on it and not gone back into BIOS and put the boot order back in order. I
also changed the straps to the hard drive, which probably isn't it anyways
because the monitor LED is green, and if the strap was loose or bad, I think
the monitor LED would stay yellow? It's happened before, but I figured to
give anything a shot to troubleshoot this problem.
Thanks, attilathehun1

Your hard drive has failed and/or your motherboard's drive controller
has failed. This is a hardware issue that has nothing to do with
Windows. In order to determine if the failure is with the hard drive,
you need to download the diagnostic utility from the hard drive mftr.'s
website - the link that Dave Patrick has already given you. You will
create a bootable cd or floppy with the file you download. Then boot
with this media that you just created and do a thorough test. If the
hard drive fails any physical tests, replace it.
