errant file delete of "jdbgmgr.exe"

D

denis

I fell victim to a false warning of an imbedded virus
with instructions to delete a file. As the warning came
from some one I know, I went ahead and deleted
the "virus".

On XP/he I deleted "jdbgmgr.exe". I later found the
warning to be a hoax inadvertently forwarded by my friend.

I need to know what the function of jdbgmgr.exe is and
whether I need to re-install it, how to do so, etc.

Any help would be appreciated as I will pass it along to
the others who did what I did.

Thanks

You likely can live without the file just fine, as it is used
to support debugging of Java code.
