Erased Tracks...now I've lost my CD & DVD-ROM drives

Help anyone?...First of all, I gotta admit that I'm not
an expert, so maybe this will be an easy fix and I just
don't know how to do it. Ok, I made a stupid error; I was
playing around with the Advanced features on MSAS and I
selected 'Clear Tracks' the Check All tab. I didn't
realize that I was about to erase the Windows Mapped
Drives. So now, I can't access my CD-Rom, or DVD-ROM--
they don't show up under the Hardware Profile, nor
Windows Explorer. My two hard drives are no problem. I'm
thinking that my messing around with erasing the tracks
was the culprit. Can anyone advise me how to fix this, if
indeed that is what caused my problem?
Much obliged,
Dustin

There is an option to remove 'Windows Mapped Drives.'
The thing is, I did the same thing and DID NOT lose
access to those drives. Are these two drives internal or
external?

If they are external, I'd suggest removing them and
reinstalling them.

Just remember to NOT make the same mistake in the future.

FYI: It DOES say 'Not Recommended' in the discription
for the 'Windows Mapped Drives' option. There's a reason
for them not recommending this option!
