erase hard drive info

I am not sure if my last message went through.
I want to donate one of my computers but do not want any
of the info. I have entered on it to go with the
computer. I want to know how to totally erase all the
info. stored on it.

Yo

Easiest way is to change the setup to boot from cdrom and
load the operating system on again, this will ask you if
you want to format the system before installing, say yes
and all your data will be wiped off. Or if you want the
machine to be blank, get some boot disks to boot into dos
and type formatc: d: or however many hard drives you got.
