If you want to have the equality sign just a click away do this:
1)Right click any toolbar and on the popup menu click Customize
2)On the dialog box, open the Commands tab
3)In the Categories box (left side) slide down and click Insert
4)In the Commands box (right side) locate the "=" symbol and drag it onto
any toolbar.
Done
You will note that you can even have the arithmetic operators (+ - * /) on a
toolbar
