epson r210 fuzzy lines

i do a head clean on my epson r210 then print out the nozzel check pattern.

5 colours print fine, the photo blue has all the bars printed, there are no
gaps but the lines look blurrey, as if they printed on wet paper, all the
other colours are crisp and straight.

when i print fine blue vertical lines the line looks slightly smudgey and
there are lines of colour missing when i print areas of blue, like sky etc.

i have run the head cleaner quite a few times but i am still getting the
fuzzy lines.

Tony,

You need to do a Purge of the Photo Cyan that is a colour block of that
colour or download a purge Tiff for the colour and do between three and
five test prints, if that fails change the Photo Cyan cart. You don't say
what ink you are using, if third party this could happen more than with OEM
ink, but that's my personal experience talking. If that fails you may have a
faulty nozzel.

hi Tony and Shooter,
thanks for the replys, i have a utility called SSC service utility, i will
try that instead of the epson printer utility.

i am using a continuous ink system and over the last 2 years i have been
very pleased with it. as i am in a wheelchair and have difficulty changing
carts i find the CIS to be fairly trouble free. i do a lot of printing for a
local realestate agent and lots of jobs for friends. i think the next step
may be a colour laser, i would like to print my own stamps.

thanks again,
grant.
