Epson R 200 -- Where to attach the the drain??

R

Robert

I have an Epson 200 which has filled the pads with waste ink. I now have a
drain tank with plastic tubing and can take the right side off the printer.
I can see the drain tube going down to the bottom of the printer. My
question is "where and how do I attach the tubing to go to the waste tank?"
thanks

The r200 has access to the waste tube behind the printer, behind that
little door. There is no need to disassemble the printer and it's not
reallly reccomended anyway as it really has no frame. For more details
consult the above link.

Thanks Zakezuke -- all I can see after taking the cover off is a pair of
wires and some pads. Where exactly is the end of the tubing?

I can not tell you exactly as the tube terminates at the rear of the
printer, there and abouts of the location of the access door. There
should be a couple of pads which you can remove, and the tube should be
down and pointing tward the center of the printer, but that is as exact
as I can be as I never disassembled the printer that far.

Alternativly speaking I "believe" it's just a tube attached to a pump
near the pladen, on the same side that the head is parked.

Try www.2manuals.com - they have a lot of free service manuals.
