Hi
I moved my pc and printer yesterday to paint the wall behind desk and at
same time (not literally) replaced my Epson color cartridge with a JetTec
one. When I then went to print I changed to photo enhance standard to print
some images BUT the printer printed a couple of pages of greek letters and
math symbols b4 I managed to switch it off. Now there is no comms between pc
and printer and E_s00rn2.exe (Epson status monitor3) always stops
responding? I get a message telling me to restart my pc but that dont work.
I've tried removing printer and printer software and reinstalling but to no
avail I've changed printer cable also. Don't mention Epson support I'm still
waiting on them getting back about last years problems!
Anyone any ideas?
Don't know if this contributed but i had to run Win ME setup from cabinet
files other day as kept getting message
Windows could not upgrade the file%1 from%2.
Windows could not upgrade one or more system filesb4 starting. If Windows
fails to start run setup again. So after a couple of reboots Win ME started
but I ran setup again anyway from the cabinet files..Now lots of stuff stops
responding all the time...
