Epson 915 taking too many sheets

My new Epson 915 seems quite keen on taking numerous sheets of paper...often
up to 10 at a time..

Obviously this is really annoying - is it common with this printer?

Have you checked the thickness lever? Maybe it is set for thicker sheets so
it is grabbing more. Otherwise I would suggest calling Epson since it is
under warranty. If they decide the printer is at fault they will ship you a
new one.
