Epson 3170 Help

I have a Epson 3170 Scanner which I use with an iMac 10.3.5. I had been
successfully scanning in photos 4 at a time using Photoshop Elements 2
and Photoshop Elements 3. To the best of my knowledge I did not change
any settings, etc. but now it will not recognize the individual photos
and combines them all as one document. I have tried scanning 2 and 3
photos spaced way apart, with the same result, one document. I have
tried scanning the photos to Graphic Converter 5.3 with the same result,
one document. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might get the
scanner to recognize multiple photos?

It is hard to advise you without knowing more details but have you tried to
manually delete all marquees, shutting down the program, and then
restarting? That might reset things. Also, if you go back to the most
basic mode (not professional or home), I think it will default to the multi
image cropping style. Finally, have you downloaded and installed the most
recent version of the software from Epson's site? That also might reset
things and will give you the latest version of the software.
