Epson 1160 in XP

I am trying to use my 1160 in XP. I had no problems in ME. I have
downloaded the current driver from Epson but when I install I find two
versions in control panel>printers. One is Epson stylus color 1160 esc/p
and the other Epson stylus color 1160. Printing fails with either. I
presume that one of these drivers is from XP. I have tried uninstalling
both and reinstalling the download but the second version appears without
action on my part.

Does anyone have a solution please?
