Epox 8kha+ and radeon woes

I have tried to use a Radeon 8500 and now a Radeon 9600 pro in this machine,
but with no luck... Crashes happen during every single 3d game, but a random
times... sometimes a freeze, sometimes a screen full of lines. Temp is not
the problem, both of these cards work fine in other machines, and the case
is always open.... Anyone know of problems with this Mobo?

Have you updated the motherboard BIOS?

I have used on the 8kha+ a GeForce 2 Ultra,GeForce 3 Ti 500 and a ATi 9700
Pro without any problems.Try running AGPx2 increase agp voltage to 1.6V or
buy a better PSU and disable fastwrites.

Sounds like chipset 4-in-1 driver issues. I have the 8KHA (no plus) with an
8500. Works great. Currently running CAT 3.1. the via 4.47 hyperion drivers
(4-in-1 drivers). Using DX9.

The 8KHA is less stable than the + version. Mine works great. Make sure you
removed all the previous video drivers. Particularly if it was a Nvidia.
