I have instructions on how to make a backup copy of Windows Registry, but
where will I find instructions on how to restore the registry with the
backup files I will have on the Desktop to apply should anything go wrong?

Check the replies you received when you first posted
your question yesterday.

Zygy, you posted this same question yesterday in the early morning, and
received multiple responses. Check that thread. I'm not sure why you cant
find the thread, since you're using Outlook Express. Are you downloading
enough headers? In any event to find your previous post search for it using
Google Groups Advanced Search. Search in microsoft.public.windowsxp.general
on your name as author.

My posting or the replies do not appear in the record of the newsgroup's

Thank you for the reply. I tried it, but it only finds my messages, since I
do not know the authors of the replies, which were apparently four. Would
you mind repeating your reply? Thanks.

When you search with Google it gives the whole thread.
