I am working in PowerPoint 2003. I am having difficulty applying both an
entrance and exit effect to the same object. I know I have been able to do
this before. Can anyone walk me through it?
Thanks in advance

Add the entrance effect, then click the object on the slide and add the Exit
effect.

If you click the entrance effect in the custom animation task pane, you'll
only have the option to "change" the existing effect, not add a new one. You
have to click the object on the slide to add another effect.

See steps 3 and 4 at http://www.echosvoice.com/changeanimation.htm

If that's not the part you're having trouble with, give us more specifics.
