entering PID to Eval copy XPe

Hi All

I have my COAs and PIDs. I currently have a target machine running an
evaluation version of XPe. I was wondering if there is a way for me to
enter the PID on my target machine while using an evaluation copy of
XPe, so that I can continue testing?

Hi Angel

No. You need a full version of the
Target Designer to enter the PID.

You have to do this before building
the image with TD.

Hi Martin.

Yes. I have a full version of Target Designer and I have an image of
XPe on a target system. I never entered a runtime license number (PID)
when I built the image. So the image I made is tag a n "eval copy" and
can only be used for X amount of day. I was wondering if there was a
way to update teh target machine with a PID and make it a full release
version of XPe

I'd say no. You have to build your image with it.

No legal way to enter the PID into the running image.
You have to rebuild your image with the PID
entered in Target Designer.
