Entering Data

Hi,

I'm in the process of desgning and setting up a DB for my law firm. When I
attempt to change information I have in a particular field, it changes to
what looks like chinese characters. I can't retype over it, because when I
do and then tab to another field, the chinese comes back. Any ideas???
