Entering data into fields

When entering data into fields (such as this form), my
cursor has about a 15 second lag before it even jumps to
the next line after clicking the mouse. Even though the
cursor is not in the next field, I can start typing in new
data, but the characters don't appear until about 15
seconds later. I had this problem before, and I believe it
was some type of setting I had screwed up, but I don't
remember what it was. Anybody have any ideas?
 
Go to the "mouse" section in the control panel and check the settings. You
may find something in there that is causing the problem.
