I have cells fixed to two decimal places and when I enter 2211. (period) it
displays 22.11 as though the decimal I keyed in doesn't matter. This worked
fine in excel 2002, but now in excel 2003 it ignores the decimal keyed in.
Any help here

Hi

Go to Tools|Options|Edit and have a look at the Fixed Decimal option.
Uncheck it if necessary.
Hope this helps.

This is "new feature" in Excel 2003.

To override the fixed decimals you must enter 2211.0 instead of the previous
versions' 2211.

Well my Excel 2003 doesn't show this behaviour. If I enter 2211 into a cell
formatted for 2 fixed decimal places, the cell shows 2211.00 NOT 22.11
