English alphabet types incorrectly

Recently I keep hitting a key(s) that makes the the letters on the keyboard
type differently than how they are shown or type normally. Which key(s) do I
press to get out of this?
 
You may have a second keyboard layout enabled in Control Panel. Try pressing
ALT+SHIFT or CTRL+SHIFT to switch back to your original layout.
