XP Home system returns error: lsass.exe "The endpoint
format is invalid." No article in Technet at all.
Several instances of this found in Google, but no
resolutions except reinstall. Any comments or
suggestions?

Lsass.exe is the Local Security Authority Service that authenticates the
username at logon. Can you log into another account, delete the user?
If not, then can you do a repair install ?
