Ending movie

I created a movie, but it stops and turns black after the last picture. Is
there a setting where you can finish the movie to keep the last picture in
view?

I cant answer this one directly. I have the impression that it tends to
be a setting on the player rather than the movie itself.
An option is to lengthen the last picture (use a screenshot if it is a
movie) until everyone would be heartily sick of it .....say ten minutes?
