I have an HP nc4000 with the evaluation version of Windows XP. Everything is
working great and I have upgraded to XP SP2.
I now have the Blue Scrren of death hitting me every 2 hours because the
Evaluation Period has expired on my copy of XP.
I tried using my upgrade CDs for XP pro (Not with SP2- the earlier ones) and
it says that the version of the operating system I am trying to install is
older than the one on my machine and it won't let me upgrade. (Because the
CDs are older than SP2 which is on my machine.)
What can I do to be "up to par" and not have to loose all my settings? Is
there an easy fix to just insert my registration key or something???
What do you think?
