I am purchasing a new Dell system with Windows XP. I am
wondering how strong of an encryption there will be with
Internet Explorer.

Which version of Internet Explorer would have 128 bit
encryption?

Thanks

Windows XP includes Internet Explorer 6 and has 128-bit
encryption standard.

Can you download a higher encryption? Exemple: to do
internet banking would 128-bit be enough.

128 can and has been broken. 512 is more along the lines
of intractable at the current hardware level.
