Encryption/Decrypt failed same user id

I recently reset my user password via my administrator login ( As I forgot
my user id XP Pro), I am now unable to decrypt any of my encrypted files
even though I am using the same user id.

I own all the required files and have reset the permissions to FULL for my
user id, what else do I need to do ?

Your data is gone. When you reset the password for an account, FROM another account, stored passwords are lost, and encryption certificates become invalid.

The Users applet even provides a warning about this, when you first tell it that you want to change the password on a different account.

Unless you have a full back-up of the profile, the data is as good as
gone.
There was a warning about resetting the password, apparently you
missed it.

You will only get access if you can remember the
password and reset it in the same way (administratively)
